Good Grounds Design is a full service Landscape Architecture firm located outside of Philadelphia, PA. The firm was founded in 2020 by Connor McInerney, and specializes in high end residential, public spaces, institutional, and commercial design.   

 

Good Grounds Design has a passionate belief in creative collaboration between clients, architects, interior designers, and all other consultants. Our mission is to create meticulously designed outdoor spaces while taking clients needs, budget, and ideas into consideration. We approach each project with a unique perspective, understanding localized influences and materials to create a design that integrates and blends into its surroundings.

Connor was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, he knew he wanted to be a Landscape Architect since he was a senior in high school. He studied and graduated from Colorado State University (accredited program), where he received his Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture.

Connor Began his working Landscape Architecture career working at a national recognized and award winning Landscape Architecture firm (LaGuardia Design) located in the heart of the Hamptons, NY. 

​

After 6 years at LaGuardia Design relocated back to his home state of PA, where he worked for another nationally recognized and award winning Landscape Architecture firm (OJB Landscape Architecture).

In 2020 Connor followed his heart and opened up Good Grounds Design Landscape Architecture, LLC.

 

In 2025 Good Grounds Design was recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as 2025 Winner of Best Landscape Architect.

Connor Currently serves as a Board Member of the (ICAA) Institute of Classical Art and Architecture, Philadelphia Chapter. He also is involves with the (ASLA) American Society of Landscape Architects and attends the conferences all around the nation every year.
